Yesterday was darling mc's bday n we practically spent more than half e day slping cos we were out late at Dragonfly @ St Jame's Powerstation wif his frens to celebrate his bday. We went to e open ktv at level 2 so tat we can haf a place to sit cos it was super crowded at level 1. Of cos i sang a few songs but was pretty disappointed wif e sound system cos it was pretty soft, couldn't really hear myself, i did my best to sing louder liao but it was still soft.
Anyway after drinking till late, mc's buddies took over e singing cos they were "high" liao, hahaha. But we waited for a super long time for their songs n we tot it was nv going to b their turn. Luckily, jus b4 we wanted to leave, their dedications came n i can c they sang their hearts out man, hahaha.
After ktv-ing, we went down to dance to "sweat" out our drinks but Shawn went to buy more beers, hai n it was pretty disgusting to get e Heinken down cos it tasted more bitter after i had other drinks. Anyway i tink mc helped me finished it, hehehe. After dancing to a few techno tracks, e performance began. There was william scorpion n some other singers which i couldn't remember their name liao, love all e songs they sang, mixture of chinese n cantonese songs.
Oh ya, tat nite had lots of fights lor, guy-guy thrashing in e club although i didn't witness e fight myself, i heard from mc's frens tat e guy actually gave e other guy at least 20 secs of punching b4 e security came to stop them. Then when we left e club, i saw a couple fighting, e ger slapped e guy n he walked away but she chased after him n he pushed her away, super drama nite lor. I tink couple fighting in e public is a very embarrassing thing cos it shld b settled behind close doors lor. Anyway tink must b drinks, hahaha.
Enough abt e drama "morning" of mc's bday, after we woke up at ard 4pm, mc had a craving for kikapo, which i find it weird tat he would crave for it b4 his "breakfast", but i still bought it for him along wif 旺旺 黑白配 biscuit n calbee spicy potato chips. Hahaha, i know it's disgusting to eat them wif an empty stomach but i was hungry n couldn't help myself not to buy when i saw them. We finished them while mc drove home to change, hehehe.
We went to Marine Square to haf Pasta de Waraku as i promised mc tat i would treat him to tat for his bday. Fortunately we were there early or bcos it was a sunday, there was no queue so we were served a table after waiting for less than a minute, hehehe.
We took these pics of each other when we made our order n shortly after, e complimentary salad came.
Super healthy, i like tat's y i brought mc there for his bday dinner. Surprisely they served us pretty fast.
mc's Hamburger Steak pasta tasted really good but he prefered my pasta cos it's sth different from e normal pasta we usually eat.
E scallop was really juicy n fresh cos there was a raw taste but those tasty kind, hahaha. It's usual from e normal way of how scallop was served in chinese dishes. Mc was quite relutant to try it cos it looked too seafood but after much persuasion, he finally tried it but nv asked for more after tat, hahaha. I didn't managed to finish my pasta cos i was feeling full after eating half plate, tink it was bcos of e junk food i took b4 we came, hehehe. Really regret eating e junk food now.
E grape fruit was strongly recommended by e waiter n so we ordered n it was too sour, in e end we didn't finish them, hehehe. If u like super sour, more sour than lime juice, u can try this.
This pizza was super thin crust tat u can wrap e whole slice up n put it in ur mouth, delicious. We finished e whole thing, hahaha.
After having such a sumptuous meal, we walked ard marina square then to suntec to aid our digestion. Last few yr i bought bday cake for mc but this yr i didn't so felt a bit guilty then wanted to buy him a small cake but he was too full to eat.
Then i tot of using ice cream to replace bday cake cos it's not so filling so we went to Ben & Jerry's @ Suntec for a 2 scoops of ice cream (vanilla & crunky monkey) waffle.
Not sure wat mc wished for but it's not gd to tell cos it wun come true if it's being told, hehehe. I would to compliment e staff at Ben & Jerry's @ Suntec, they were super friendly n helpful, they really made e place so lively.
